If your Device cause network errors in combination with other Device, the MAC address could be the same when distribute a backup Image on several Devices.
To fix that and return to the unique MAC address that is initially burned on Device do following:

Open the console of the device

type fw_printenv ethaddr
Note: Before creating a backup, you can check whether the MAC is forced/assigned or not by typing fw_printenv ethaddr into the console. If you see “ethaddr =” without a MAC number, then the System uses the unique MAC that is burned on Chip.
