Commissioning and configuration:
The commissioning and configuration of the CODESYS is very simple.
When the panel is started, CODESYS starts directly and loads the boot project if one exists.
The configuration menu can be called via a web browser on another device that is connected to the Panel via Ethernet.
Installing CODESYS Development Environment and first use:
For the first use of CODESYS, download and install the CODESYS development environment ( Setup_CODESYS 3.5.xx.yy ) and the Device Package (KCHControlLinux_3.5.xx.yy ) from our ftp server (ftp://kontron_pub:WENZtA6i@ftp.kontron.ch/CoDeSysV3/).
FTP Support deprecated by browsers
Major web browser like Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome have deprecated FTP support in July 2021. Use another FTP software instead.

General:
The default network addresses are:

Ethernet 1 (eth0): 192.168.1.100, 255.255.255.0

Ethernet 2 (eth1): 192.168.2.100, 255.255.255.0
Note
Do not rely on the designation on the hardware lid. It is possible that NET1 / NET2 do not correspond to et0 / eth1 or Ethernet1 / Ethernet2.
Use the Ethernet interface that has the default IP address 192.168.1.100 to start. This is the one were connection to the webconfig, codesysruntime, ssh,... works.
Web configuration:

Available at http://192.168.1.100, resp. http://192.168.2.100

Default Username is "root", Default Password is "root" (Note lower case)

Here you can configure the Ethernet interfaces, URL addresses etc.

There is also a simple shell for Linux commands
Linux Shell:

The Linux Shell is accessible via SSH, e.g. with program TeraTerm

IP: 192.168.1.100, or 192.168.2.100 respectively

Default username is "root", password "root".

Update device:
The device can easily be updated via micro sdcard or usb-stick.
