OSCAT is an "Open Source Community for Automation Technology". Since August 2006, OSCAT has been working specifically on establishing a communication platform on the subject of automation. This site attaches particular importance to the programming of PLCs under IEC61131-3. OSCAT develops the OSCAT.LIB, which is available in Open Source and is intended to serve as a framework for applications in automation according to the IEC61131-3 standard. The aim is to create a library that is as clear as possible and contains the most important functions and function blocks for automation technology projects.
