First Steps building a image
-
Download & open vmare image (use min. 12GB RAM for the VM)

Open a console
-
Console Command: “cd yocto-ktn”
-
Console Command: “. init-env –u build-kch-sample
-
Console Command: “bitbake image-kontron-base”
Remarks
-
To include further yocto packages edit the file local.conf (Enviroment Variable: CORE_IMAGE_EXTRA_INSTALL)

The conf/local.conf file contains corresponding instructions such as changing the platform (MACHINE) and setting additional options.
